Nigeria finished fourth at the 2026 Commonwealth Fencing Championships in Lagos, after hosting the six-day competition at Rugby School Nigeria, Eko Atlantic City. The host nation won one gold, five silver and 18 bronze medals, with 17- year-old Oghenegaren Osievwa-Thompson making history as Nigeria’s first international fencing gold medallist.
