Nigeria has called for a unified approach to insecurity in the African continent.
Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to ECOWAS, Ambassador Musa Nuhu, made the call at the opening of the joint consultation meeting between the African Union’s Peace and Security Council and the ECOWAS Mediation and Security Council at the ambassadorial level on Wednesday, in Abuja.
Amb Nuhu, who is the chair of the ECOWAS Mediation and Security Council, said the entire bloc needs to explore all areas of cooperation to address the security challenges.
