Fuel Scarcity Beyond My Control – Gov Oyebanji.
Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji on Wednesday said that the fuel scarcity rocking the state and nationwide is beyond his control.
The governor stated this during the May Day 2024 celebration held at Ekiti Parapo pavilion, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state capital.
Speaking with journalists after the programme themed: “People First”, Oyebanji said his administration has intensified efforts to ensure that the premium motor spirit popularly known as petrol is supplied to Ekiti soon.
He also urged marketers in the state to desist from hoarding the product for the betterment of all.
Earlier, the leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress in their speech appealed to the state government to reinstate sacked workers of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti.
