APC, PDP Disagree
Over Adeleke’s Security Alarm.
All Progressives Congress and the People’s Democratic Party in
Osun state are trading accusations over the security alarm raised by the
governor, AdemolaAdeleke, on the alleged plans by hoodlums to attack schools
and farm settlements in the state.
This is coming after Governor Adeleke said, intelligence reports
had indicated plans to attack schools and carry out abductions, as well as farm
settlement, adding that he had summoned a Security Council meeting to address
the situation.
The APC in a statement by its state chairman, Tajudeen Lawal,
accused the governor of raising a false panic regarding security in the state,
stressing that, it was disheartening that, a governor would descend into grave
pettiness in order to divert the attention of the public from his hopeless and
dishonest administration.
