Urges Muslims To Be Security Conscious.
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike
has called for security consciousness and responsible celebration as the Muslim
Faithful mark the Eid el-Fitr.
Wike made the call in a statement he personally signed,
congratulating the Muslim Ummah as they bid farewell to the holy month of
Ramadan.
Wike pointed out that the Eid el-Fitr also serves as a
profound reminder of the values of compassion, generosity, and unity that lie
at the heart of Islam.
He said FCT embodies diversity, tolerance, and harmony,
serving as a symbol of unity for all Nigerians, adding that our strength lies
in our ability to embrace differences and work together towards common goals,
regardless of ethnicity, religion, or background.
