Abure To Step Aside Over Alleged Misappropriation
Labour
Party Chairmen in the 36 states have asked its National Chairman, Barrister
Julius Abure, to step aside for proper and fair investigation into the
allegation of misappropriation of party’s finances leveled against him.
The
call was made by Forum of Labour Party States Chairmen in the 36 States of the
Federation in Abuja, led by Comrade Solomon Ndem, Plateau State labour Party
Chairman.
This is
coming after Oluchi Opara, Labour Party National Treasurer, had earlier asked
Abure to account for N3.5 billion generated from the sales of nomination forms
and other activities ahead of the 2023 general election.
