Former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has expressed his deepest
condolences to the families of those who lost their lives during the recent
#EndBadGovernance protests.
A statement released on X.com on Sunday, Obi mourned the loss of lives,
including security personnel, who died during the demonstrations and also
wished a speedy recovery to those injured during the protests and assured
them that their sacrifices would not be forgotten.
The former presidential candidate urged leaders to heed the cries of the
people and address their legitimate demands promptly, adding that, the
need for urgent action to tackle pressing issues such as insecurity,
corruption, hardship, and poverty, which fuelled the protests cannot be over-
emphasized.
