Sheriff pays N130bn inherited debt

Delta State Government has paid over N130 billion out of N465 billion to reduce the

debt profile of the state.

The Executive Assistant on New Media to the Delta State governor, Felix Ofu who

disclosed this on Tuesday while speaking to journalists in Asaba, the Delta State capital

said, the government has executed a lot of projects in the state with the money

accruing to it, noting that Oborevwori cannot be accused of mismanagement of funds

In addition, the Executive Assistant on Media to the governor, Nobert Chiazor described

the N78 billion contract by Julius Beger as iconic in the history of Delta State, adding

that the contract is currently changing the look of the Warri axis, insisting that

Oborevwori runs an open and transparent Government.
