Reps organize public hearing on bill to established FRSC training institute.

As the House organise public hearing on bills to  to establish training institutions for the Federal Road Safety Commission,FRSC ,the Chairman the Board of FRSC says the proposed legislation will ensure effective and efficient road traffic administration.

The Board Chairman ,Mallam Bukhari Bello who presented a position paper during the hearing said this will be in alignment with United Nations facade of action on road safety 2021 to 2030.

He also posited that the legal framework will place the Commission as a world class organization as well as ensuring that Nigeria meets international standards.

The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps,Ali Biu in his presentation said the bill will ensure safe motoring environment in accordance with global best practice.

Earlier,Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Road Safety Commission, Hon Akinfolarin Samuel emphasized on the need for synergy amongst government agencies for better performance and delivery to Nigerians.

The public hearing was organised to get the input of stakeholders on four bills and a motion 

aimed at achieving greater uniformity in the rules governing road traffic management as well as give legal backing to the  establishment of already running training institutions  of FRSC across the country.
