MMA Customs Gets N28bn Revenue In 2 Months
Nigeria Customs Service, Murtala Muhammed Airport Command says it has gathered N28 billion naira as revenue between January and February.
A statement by the Public Relations Officer of the command, Victor Ogagbor said, the Customs Area Controller in charge of the command, Mohammed Yusuf, said the figure surpassed the command’s monthly revenue target, while, the feat was a result of the synergy and compliance from both officers and stakeholders.
He further urged officers and men of the command to sustain the tempo, adding that, within the period under review, a lot of anti-smuggling activities were carried out that led to the interception of 50 pieces of 9mm live ammunition, which was discovered in a joint examination between the NCS and
