17-year-old boy, Philip Emmanuel, has confessed to conniving with his
accomplice, Precious, to kill their boss, Mrs. Adene Iyabode Deborah.
The deceased, a caterer, who was stabbed severally and her head
severed, was said to be found dead inside her apartment after missing for
some days.
Paraded at the Ondo Police headquarters, the suspect said he had worked
with the victim for five months before the incident, stressing that it was
Precious, who was employed as a driver for only two months that lured him
to commit the crime.
According to the teenage suspect, Precious overheard that N150,000 was
paid into their madam’s account and approached him that they should kill
her and collect the money.
Ondo Police Commissioner, Oladipo Abayomi, who described Philip as a
trusted employee of the deceased, urged residents to be cautious when
discussing sensitive financial information, especially around employees or
individuals who might misuse such knowledge.
