Bola Tinubu, Presidential Candidate of APC; Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President and Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola

The alleged silence on the non-show of public support by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbeshola for the presidential ambition of Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have been attributed to conflict of interest.

Dr. Prosper Edoja, a guest on ATN Politics while commenting on the call by Businessman and supporter of Tinubu, Mr. Remilekun Usman, on Osinbajo and Aregbesola to publicly show support for Tinubu’s presidential ambition, said Osinbajo's speech at the APC's primaries clearly shows ideological difference between the two. he also said Tinubu's choice of same fate ticket could have possibly severe the divide.

On Aregbesola, he said, until his interest is properly represented in the corrent political structure of Tinubu the fued would linger.

He faulted Remilekun for going public with his call, adding that the call was politically motivated.

Remilekun had call on Osinbajo and Aregbesola to emulate former Abia governor Orjir Kalu to openly declare support for the presidential ambition of Tinubi ahead of the 2023 general election.
