2023 Presidency: Amidst rumoured Health Challenge, Tinubu declares he is hale, Healthy, ready to Serve Nigeria
Against the backdrop of his rumoured death, presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has declared that he is hale, healthy and ready to serve Nigeria from day one.
Tinubu made this assertion in a statement accompanying a video of his fitness posted via his verified Twitter page on Sunday.
His tweet reads, “Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign.
“Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One. #BAT23.”
Reacting to tweet on Tinubu's health, is a Professor of Political science, Eme Ekekwe, who appeared on Open Conversation. He said Tinubu's Tweet on his health is unnecessary. The best thing for Tinubu to do was to go to any Television Station, and engage in an interview, by so doing Nigerians will see that he is hail and hearty. He said Tinubu is not in the Position to Tell Nigerians he is healthy but his doctors, and his tweet on his health increases the suspicion.
