Suspected Bandits Unleash Attack On Market,
Kill 2 Persons.
Suspectedgroup of armed bandits have
unleashed a terror attack on Mada Market, in Zamfara State, killing two
innocent persons, with many others injured.
Eyewitness, Mama Bilikisu, said many
terrorists invaded the market on motorcycles with sophisticated weapons and
started to shoot indiscriminately.
According to her, the bandits
overpowered the few police operatives in Mada district of Gusau and had free
time to operate.
This is coming after the State
government had during former Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle’s administration
banned Wanke and other markets due to rampant banditry activities in the
markets.
State Police command’s spokesman, ASP
