Abuja-Bound Train Derails
In Kaduna
Few days after the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike
approved 3 months free train service for residents, the train which conveyed
dozens of passengers after departing from Kaduna around 8:05 a.m. incidentally
derailed at Jere about an hour later.
Security operatives, including men of the
Nigeria Police and Army are on the ground to offer support, but, three
carriages went off the tracks.
No statement on the incident has been made
public on the stranded passengers.
