Ahead of the campaign period, the Vice Presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party PDP, Governor Ifeayi Okowa has charged members of the Presidential campaign council to pay more attention to grassroots mobilization during campaign.
Governor Okowa was speaking to the 600 members of the presidential candidate council during its maiden general meeting in Abuja.
The vice presidential candidate urged the team to ensure they return to their various units and wards reminding them that elections can only be won from there.
The Presidential Campaign council PCC of the People's Democratic Party PDP is taken to time time to set the ball rolling as we approach the general elections.
Governor Okowa during the meeting told the council thati it is not enough to go from state to state and forget the importance of their homes where the votes are, he said they must pay more attention to their homes that that is where the real victory will start.
He also charged them to work hard adding that that PDP is the only Party that can compete very strongly in all 6 geo political zones of Nigeria.
In his remark the PCC vice chairman North Bala Mohammed assured members that all the problems and challenges of the party will be resolve before the election advising members
to work to the best of their ability and not the betray the confidence bestowed on them by the Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.
