Troops Free 10 Women, Six Minors From Captivity.
Troops from Combat Team 3 stationed in Maraban Maigora in Katsina State have rescued 10 women and six minors who were kidnapped by bandits on February 3, 2024.
The military said, the victims were rescued during a routine patrol at Rimi community after being held by their abductors for 46 days.
Governor Dikko Radda, in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, commended the troops for their bravery and decisive action, and acknowledged the gravity of the situation, while, reassuring the public of his administration’s unwavering commitment to eradicating banditry within the state.
