Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun says trials for suspects arrested during
the Endbadgovernance protests have commenced.
This is cominh after the police had on Monday said, over 800 suspects who committed
various offences during the protest had been arrested.
Speaking during a meeting of security agency heads in Abuja on Tuesday, Egbetokun
said in Kano, suspects were being tried at the police headquarters because of their
numbers.
