Govt Tackles Flood On Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
Lagos State Government has directed the Emergency Flood
Abatement Gang of the state Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources to
address the flood on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
The move followed complaints made by an X user on a recent
flooding that ravaged the road, and in a video posted by the user, vehicles
were seen maneuvering on the road as flood took over a long section of the
expressway.
Flooding has been a major challenge in
Lagos during the rainy season with the government consistently warning
residents against indiscriminate dumping of waste to prevent drainage blockage.
