Begins Military Operations In Rafah.
Israeli forces have
commenced military operation in the city of Rafah, Gaza Strip.
Officials said, Israeli
forces are striking targets in Rafah city, while, about 12 people have been
killed in the attack that happened overnight.
The attack comes hours
after Hamas announced it had accepted an Egyptian-Qatari cease-fire proposal.
But, the Prime Minister,
Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said, the proposal was “far from Israel’s essential
demands, and it would nonetheless send negotiators to continue talks on a
cease-fire agreement
While, Israel’s War
Cabinet decided to push ahead with a military operation in Rafah, the Israeli
military said, it was conducting “targeted strikes” against Hamas in Rafah
without providing details.
