Aiyedatiwa Swears-In New Hos, Others

Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on Friday inaugurated new members of the State Executive Council.

They included six commissioners, eight special advisers and the Head of Service.

The governor inaugurated the new cabinet members at a ceremony held at the International Culture and Events Centre (The Dome) in Akure.

The commissioners are Emmanuel Igbasan, Engr Razaq Obe, Mrs Omowumi Isaac, Dr Olukayode Abraham Ajulo, Akinwumi Sowore and Oyeniyi Oseni.

Special Advisers are Olugbenga Omole, Olamide Falana, Hon Alabi Johnson, Summy Smart Francis, Dr Olawunmi Ilawole, Pastor Babalola Joseph Ayoade, Comrade Abdulganiyu Muhammed and Prof. Simidele Odimayo.

Governor Aiyedatiwa charged the new cabinet members to see their appointment as a call to service, to deliver good governance to the people of Ondo State.

In particular, Governor Aiyedatiwa commended the new Head of Service, Bayo Philip, urging him to provide exemplary leadership and prioritize the interests of civil servants in the state.

He urged all officials to draw upon their diverse experiences to contribute meaningfully to the administration’s goals of transparency and accountability.

Earlier in his remarks, Head of Service, Bayo Philip, called on the state workers to rededicate their service to the civil service as his tenure will not tolerate lateness, laxity to work and would encourage promotion based on merit.
