PDP Primary Delegates’ Accreditation Begins.
Accreditation
of delegates for the primary election of the People’s Democratic Party in Ondo
State has begun.
The
primary is aimed at electing the opposition party’s candidate for the November
governorship election in the state.
The
exercise which is taking place at the International Culture and Event Centre
will host 627 delegates to elect the party’s governorship flag-bearer.
The
seven aspirants are a former deputy governor of the state, AgboolaAjayi; a
former Secretary-General of the pan-Yoruba socio-political association, Chief
OlusolaEbiseni; a former member of the House of Representatives, KoladeAkinjo;
a former Commissioner for Information, John Mafo, including AdeoluAkinwumi,
BamideleAkingboye and Bosun Arebuwa.
