Orders Investigation Of Kano Mosque Fire Suspects.
President Bola Tinubu has ordered the law enforcement
agencies to conduct a swift and diligent investigation into the fire incident
at a mosque in Larabar Abasawa, Gezawa council area of Kano state, which
claimed several lives and left many others injured.
A statement by the special adviser on media and
publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu condemned the act of arson and
expressed his condolences to the Government and people of Kano State, as well
as the bereaved families and all those affected.
The president also ordered the prosecution of suspects
found to be responsible for the act of arson, which led to the tragic incident.
The statement further sympathized with the bereaved
families, all those affected, and prays for a quick recovery for the wounded.
