Arrest Lawyer For Abusing 10-Year-Old
Police has finally
arrested Mrs Adachukwu Okafor, a lawyer, who allegedly abused her 10-year-old
house help.
The Special Assistant on
Media to the Minister of Women Affairs, Ohaeri Joseph, in a statement, said the
lawyer has been on the run since the news of her alleged crime broke on the
internet, adding that, the weapons used to brutalize the child include a broken
bottle, a knife and an electric pressing iron.
This is coming after the
minister had earlier placed a N2 million reward for any information on the
lawyer who disappeared after a video of her misdeeds went viral, adding that,
the ministry will partner with the police to begin an immediate investigation
into the matter.
