Arewa Group Alleges Yusuf, Kwankwaso Plotting Violence.

Arewa Peace and Development Initiative, has alleged that Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf and the national leader of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwan kwaso, are plotting to cause violence in the state.

The group expressed concern that the face-off between the governor and the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, is capable of causing chaos in the entire North.

This is coming after Governor Abba Yusuf and Ganduje have been at loggerheads over alleged financial misappropriation in the last administration, while, Ganduje was on Tuesday suspended by APC in his Ward in the Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of the state.

Reacting, Yakubu Dauda, the convener, in Abuja said, the plot to remove Ganduje from his position could cause security crisis in the state, and also alleged that the governor and the NNPP were involved in the recent suspension of the APC chairman.

The group also said, what Governor Yusuf and Kwankwaso plotted in planning violent crisis and unrest in Kano State is dangerous for the very reason that the violence they were bringing to the streets would most likely get out of control and spill to other Arewa states.
