Police Nabs Suspected Kidnappers.
Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested three suspected kidnappers in Mararaba.
A statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer in Nasarawa, DSP Ramhan Nansel, the suspects contacted Idris and threatened to kidnap him if he did not pay N2 million, while, Idris complied and dropped the money at a location specified by the suspects for fear of being kidnapped.
He also said, the suspects picked up the money and divided it among themselves, while, the suspects allegedly conspired among themselves and placed a call across to one Ibrahim Idris of the same address, an uncle to one of the suspects.
The PPRO also said, the arrested suspects have confessed to the crime, and efforts are underway to apprehend another member of the syndicate who narrowly escaped arrest.
