Onaiyekan Advises Nigerians On Good Legacies While Alive.
His Eminence, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, the Archbishop emeritus of the Abuja Catholic Archdiocese has advised Nigerians to live a life that would be impactful to humanity so they could be remembered after death.
Onaiyekan who disclosed this at the service of songs organized for the late former Governor of Anambra State, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife in Abuja charged people to live upright lives and be prepared for their last days on earth.
He urged the congregation to always remember that there was life after death, saying “what one did with his life on earth will determine what happened in life after now.”
He also said, death was the end of life and an inevitable reality of life, adding that the death of an old person should be celebrated by those he left behind.
