‘Abduct 15 Students’ In Fresh Attack.
Bandits have reportedly struck Gidan Bakuso in Gada local
government area of Sokoto state, abducting over 15 Tsangaya students, with
several others currently missing.
Students were abducted from their school around 1:am on
Saturday.
The proprietor of the school, Liman Abubakar, told
journalists that 15 students were unaccounted for so far after the early
morning attack.
The member, representing Gada-East Constituency at the
state House of Assembly, Kabiru Dauda while confirming the attack, said he
received a call from the village around 2 am that it was invaded by bandits.
Meanwhile, the Sokoto State Police Command has denied
awareness of the attack.
This latest attack is coming on the heels of a recent
attack on Kaduna and Borno states where over 400 children, including women and
girls were abducted from their school.
