Members of the Taraba State All Progressives Congress (APC) Caucus in the House of Representatives have dissociated themselves from the removal of the State chairman of the party, Mr. Ibrahim El-Sudi.
The Chairman of the caucus who is also the Senatorial Candidate for Taraba Central, Hon Danjuma Shiddi, made their position known when he address a press conference in Abuja.
Hon Shiddi alleged that the impeachment was orchestrated by a self-serving section of the State Executive Committee which according to the Lawmakers was not properly constituted in line with Article 12.9 of the APC Constitution.
He said removal of El-Sudi as APC State Chairman is invalid.
The leader of the caucus further explained that In the light of Article 21 of the APC Constitution, the way and manner Hon. El-Sudi was purportedly removed is constitutionally flawed in both in substance and procedure.
