NNPP Stakeholders Pass No Confidence Vote On Gov Yusuf.
Stakeholders of the New Nigeria People’s Party, in the 19 Northern States, under the aegis of Concerned NNPP Stakeholders, have passed a vote of no confidence on Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State.
A communique issued jointly signed by the President of the group, Hon. Attahiru Musa, Secretary, Hon. Simon Pam, and others claimed that they have been left “disappointed with the path the beloved party is taking, especially in Kano State, adding that, NNPP has failed in Kano State, while, the party’s leadership in the state is presently worse than the government at the centre and the previous administration.
This is coming after the governor and his predecessor, currently the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Umar Ganduje have been in a loggerheads, while, the state government has vowed to prosecute Ganduje over alleged financial misappropriation while he was in office as governor of the state.
