Policy In Line With Tinubu’s Visions–Otti.
Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has praised President Bola
Tinubu for his administration’s vision of providing affordable housing for
Nigerians and his decision to source housing project contractors locally.
He gave the kudos when he received in the state, a
delegation of the Federal Housing Authority, led by its Managing Director,
OyetundeOjo who visited him, on Tuesday.
He noted that the Abia government’s housing policy is in
alignment with the federal government’s visions of providing affordable housing
to Nigerians.
Otti said that his administration would show sufficient
interest in the proposed federal housing project in Abia, stressing the
importance of shelter to man.
He disclosed that his administration had already
identified a location as it had been working on the idea of a diaspora village
in the state, which is also one of the propositions of the Federal Government’s
housing programme.
