Danjuma Hails Falconets’
Victory Over Senegal.
Falconets head coach, Chris Danjuma says he is happy after his
side sealed a place in the semi-finals of the women’s football event at the
African Games 2023.
Danjuma’s side thrashed Senegal 4-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium on
Monday night to seal a place in the last four.
Loveth Edeh set the ball rolling with the opening goal on 13
minutes, while there were further goals from Motunrayo Ezekiel, Aisha Kales and
Chioma Olise to make the score line more emphatic and emphasized the team’s
relentless pursuit of excellence despite their second victory in the
competition.
The Falconets will face the second-place team in Group A in the
semi-finals.
