Nab Fake NYSC Member.
Ebonyi State Police Command on Wednesday paraded a fake
female National Youth Service Corps, member arrested for stealing several
children in the state.
The fake NYSC member, who is about 40 years old,
identified as Ngozi Blessing Abia, had abducted two primary school children at
Nwezenyi junction, Ndiokpoto village in Igbeagu community, Izzi LGA of Ebonyi
State.
Further investigations by the police after her arrest
revealed that she is involved in a series of cases of child theft.
The state Police Public Relation Officer, DSP John
Ukandu, who confirmed the arrest, stated that the suspect was apprehended at
Oba, in Anambra State where the children were rescued.
He added that the children have been returned to their
family.
