Police Arrest Phone Snatcher.
Police Response Unit, known as Haba Maza, has, in a joint operation with the State Intelligence Department apprehended one Sani Musa of Nayi-Nawa ward, Damaturu in connection with the stabbing of a young salesgirl.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Police Public Relations Officer, Yobe State Command, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim.
He said the 22-year-old suspect was arrested in a hideout in possession of the victim’s snatched cell phone, along with other assorted charms.
He said a discrete investigation has commenced on the matter, and proactive measures taken to avert future occurrences.
Recall that 24-year-old salesgirl, Sheba Simon was stabbed by unidentified hoodlums in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.
