National Agency for
the Control of AIDS, on Saturday, restated its commitment to combating HIV/AIDS
and promoting the well-being of all Nigerians.
The agency made the
commitment in its Easter message made available to journalists in Abuja.
The statement quoted
the agency’s Director-General, Dr TemitopeIlori, as emphasizing that Easter is
a time of reflection, renewal, and hope which symbolizes the triumph of light
over darkness and of love over despair.
Ilori wished all
Christians a blessed Easter filled with peace, joy, and the blessings of
renewal.
