EFCC Boss Speaks On
Integrity, Transparency In Leadership.
Executive Chairman of the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission, Ola Olukoyede says the importance of integrity and
transparency as crucial elements of effective leadership in both public and
private sectors cannot be over emphasized.
Olukoyede who disclosed this at the 1st
President Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Leadership Conference and Awards in
Abuja acknowledged that, while there are rules and laws in place to promote
integrity, poor enforcement has contributed to the low integrity quotient among
many Nigerians.
The EFCC boss implored Nigerians to imbibe
integrity in all their endeavors and restated the Commission’s commitment to
the provisions of its Establishment Act, and vowed that, the Commission will
not relent in its enforcement roles.

Nigeria, General Yakubu Gowon, praised late President Yar’adua for imbibing the
true spirit of patriotism and being remembered for his love for Nigeria.
Governor of Benue State, Hyacinth Alia, an
awardee at the event, thanked the organizers for preserving the late
