Nantes manager, Antoine
Kombouare has expressed his disappointment after losing Moses Simon to injury.
Simon will miss the
remainder of the season after he fractured his ankle during Nigeria’s 2-0
friendly defeat to Mali on Tuesday.
The winger underwent a
successful surgery on Friday and is expected to be sidelined for up to three
months.
The 28-year-old is an
important player for the Canaries, who are fighting relegation in Ligue 1 this
season.
Kambouare admitted his
absence is a big blow for his team.
Simon has scored three
goals and provided six assists in 22 league appearances for the Canaries this
season.
