Lampard Commends Chelsea Star Despite Wembley Defeat.
Chelsea legend, Frank Lampard, has hailed the performance of Cole Palmer after the 21-year-old shone against his former club Manchester City in the FA Cup on Saturday, despite another bitter Wembley defeat.
Lampard said the England international is the man Chelsea faithful’s want in front of goal, while, Palmer produced another spellbinding display at Wembley Stadium but ended up on the losing team as Bernardo Silva’s goal ensured Pep Guardiola’s side defeated the Blues 1-0.
He also said, Cole Palmer came into a club that is in a difficult moment, but was not easy to arrive with such confidence and quiet arrogance.
