New Nigeria Peoples Party has inaugurated a five-member caretaker
committee to take over the affairs of the party for six months in Gombe
State.
The inauguration is a sequel to the dissolution by the National Working
Committee of the party in five states including Gombe State, while, the five-
member caretaker committee is made up of the Chairman; Abdullahi
Mohammed, Sulaiman Hamza, Secretary; Abubakar Kalagar, Dauda
Muhammad Bajoga, and Ambrose Ismail.
Addressing members shortly after their inauguration, the chairman of the
committee called for unity and support, adding that, the committee has been
established to strengthen the party’s structures and foster inclusiveness for
future political engagements.
The caretaker committee chairman called for togetherness, while,
coordinator Gombe Central, Abubakar Kalagar, called on members to unite
towards making the party stronger.
