The Federal Government has said that there is no going back in it decision of a national carrier of the nation called Nigeria Air Limited

The decision to establish the Nigeria Air carrier the minister insisted it will be in partnership with the Ethiopian Airlines as the major investor with 49 percent shares.

The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika was speaking before the senate committee on Aviation during an interactive session with heads of aviation agencies and Airlines Operators of Nigeria.

The minister said Africa particularly Nigeria must come out with speed with the world and open up the African skies for business through creating opportunities for local and foreign investments.

Mr Roland Iyayi member of Airline Operator of Nigeria had earlier kicked against the operational agreement of Nigeria Air with the involvement of Ethiopian Airlines alleging .

But the minister said Nigeria Air is going to happen by the before the end of the year and It will fly and also compete fairly with all of the existing airlines saying the intention of Nigeria Air is not to kill air business.
