Police Nabs 5 Robbery Suspects Terrorizing Passengers.
Police in Adamawa state says five men linked with a series of armed
robberies and kidnappings along
the Numan-Jalingo have been arrested.
The Adamawa State Police Command, which disclosed this in a statement said,
its operatives, and
working in collaboration with hunters arrested the suspects.
The statement, signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP
Suleiman Nguroje, said a timely
response yielded a positive result, as five out of seven were arrested,
while, the Command’s response
team aggressively gave a hot chase to the kidnappers, leading to their
arrest, recovery of offensive
weapons and successful rescue of the kidnapped victims.
It also said, the suspects are residents of Kedemure and Barikin Sajo of
Demsa and Song local
Government areas.
