Arrest 5 Gangsters On Wanted List.
Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have
arrested five youths identified as Shila Boys, a group infamous for robbing
residents of their belongings, mostly phones and similar light gadgets.
The police command said the five had been on its wanted
list for a while.
In the statement released Wednesday by police image
maker, Suleiman Nguroje, the Command said the suspects were arrested during
routine operations at criminal hideouts and black spots, including Yola Market,
Wuro Hausa, and Damare in Yola Town, Yola South Local Government Area.
The command urged members of the public to help the fight
against Shila Boys by being vigilant and reporting suspicious movements.
