EFCC Nabs 8 Suspected Internet Fraudsters.
Uyo Zonal Command of the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission says it has apprehended eight persons
suspected to be involved in internet fraud.
A statement by the EFCC
Spokesperson, Dele Oyewale said, the suspects were arrested on Thursday, May 2,
2024, at Osongama Extension following an actionable intelligence.
Oyewale listed the items
recovered from the suspects to include: seven laptops; 13 smartphones; as well
as two wristwatches and one router.
