Arrests 85-Year-Old Suspected Kidnapper.
Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil
Defence Corp, has arrested an 85-year-old suspected kidnapper, Ibrahim Usman,
at Yar’adua quarters, Rimin Kebe, Ungogo LGA.
The Command’s spokesman, Ibrahim Abdullahi, disclosed
this in a statement.
He said the suspect abducted a 3-year-old boy in his neighborhood.
According to him, the suspect attempted to hide him in
his friend’s residence situated at Hotoro bye-pass in Kano State but upon
suspecting foul play, the friend refused to keep the boy in his custody and
decided to alert residents where the suspect lived at Rimin Kebe.
Abdullahi, however, revealed that the investigation into
the case has reached an advanced stage and upon conclusion, the suspect will be
charged to court.
