Manchester United are ready to rival Premier giants Liverpool for the signing of
Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.
Mamardashvili had his heart set on a move to Liverpool this summer transfer window,
while, Man United are keen on beating Arne Slot’s side to the 23-year-old’s signature.
The report said, United must sell Jadon Sancho first, though, to raise funds and make
room in their squad.
Mamardashvili featured for Georgia during the Euro 2024 tournament and was
impressive in their 2-0 win over Portugal at the Group stage.
