Ibrahim Withdraws Suit Against APC.
Senator representing
Ondo South, Jimoh Ibrahim has removed his suit against the All Progressives
Congress, and Ondo Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
This is coming after
Ibrahim approached the Federal High Court in Abuja to challenge the outcome of
the gubernatorial primary election of the APC in Ondo State, and claimed that
there was no voting in his senatorial district and a larger part of the state.
Following the suit,
the executives of the APC in Igbotako Ward II, Okitipupa Local Government Area
of Ondo State, suspended Ibrahim from the party over alleged anti-party
activities and insubordination, while, Ibrahim said, he withdrew the suit in
deference to President Bola Tinubu, who waded in the issue.
