APC wins in Burutu North
Independent National Electoral Commission, Returning Officer,
Arnold Adimabua Osugo, has declared Hon. Ebitonmo Anthony Alapala winner of the
rerun election in the Burutu North Constituency in Delta State.
Osugo, in the election result sheet, certified that Alapala of the
All Progressives Congress, polled 7,728 votes, while his closest rival, Hon.
Asupa Forteta of the People’s Democratic Party, garnered 6,616 votes.
INEC’s Head of Publicity and Enlightenment sent a copy of the
election results via WhatsApp, adding that, the rerun election for Ethiope-West
Constituency is being transmitted to the office in Asaba, and also promised to
forward the Ethiope-West result once received.
