Tinubu Endorses National Honours For Slain Soldiers In Delta.
President Bola Tinubu has approved a befitting burial for the 17 soldiers who were killed while on a peacekeeping mission in Delta State last week.
He approved the conferment of post-houmous national honours on the slain soldiers.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, who disclosed this in a statement, said, the President disclosed this while breaking the Ramadan fast with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, and the House leadership.
The President, while expressing his heartfelt condolences to the families of the bereaved, pledged that the sacrifices of the fallen heroes would never be in vain, adding that, the officers would be given a befitting burial and national honours.
