Yusuf Swears In 44 Caretaker Chairmen.
Kano Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has sworn in new caretaker
chairmen for the 44 local government areas of the State.
The inaugurated local government Interim management
committee is to serve for three months only.
The decision follows the approval of the House of
Assembly committee on local government affairs.
Governor Yusuf told the interim committee chairmen that
their performance would determine whether their tenure would be renewed or not.
He reminded the chairmen the administration has zero
tolerance for unruly behaviours warning them against bossy style of leadership.
