A Human Rights lawyer and Humanitarian advocate, Barr. Gift Agbabuo has condemned the alleged destruction of houses over boundary adjustment in Ogbe-Ijoh Community, in Delta State. 

While speaking on Atlantic Television Network's Society Watch, Barr. Agbabuo condemned the destruction of the houses as alleged. He explained that the destruction of properties is not a solution to boundary adjustment issues. You rather give people the notice and time to vacate the place. 

Barr. Agbabuo stressed the need for both parties to be actively involved in the boundary adjustment committee and activities in order to uphold peace in the society.

You may recall that, some angry youths under the aegis of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom Interest and Defensive Forum had protested the alleged destruction of houses in Ogbe-Ijoh Community in Delta state over boundary adjustment.

The aggrieved youths who faulted the sincerity of the boundary adjustment committee, called on the chairmen of Udu LGA, Hon. Jite Brown and Warri South West LGA, Hon.Taiye Tuoyo, to within seven days rebuild the destroyed properties or else face a showdown. The group accused the committee of failing to seek the consent of Ogbe-Ijoh Community prior to the destruction of the said properties.
